Social Networking

What Is Social Networking?

Social Networking is used to describe how people interact with others online.  You may even be "social networking" without even realizing it. Whether it's from checking an email, to logging onto a facebook or twitter account, or even sending a text message to a friend. Many social networking sites have become familiar to multiple people around the world, especially among the younger generation. These sites include Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google+, Texting, Myspace, Foursquare, online dating (Match.com and E-harmony), etc.

              History
This is a timeline that shows how social networking has evolved over the years. It reveals when popular websites were launched, and gives some statistics on how many users there are.
